Den nye bog ”FLYERS HIP HOP I KØBENHAVN 1984-1996” er en kronologisk, visuel fortælling om de første 13 år i dansk/københavnsk Hip Hop kultur.
Flyers og plakater var Hip Hop kulturens nyhedsmedie for at sprede budskabet om et arrangement, jam eller koncert. Tilsammen giver de et billede af en kultur, hvor man gjorde tingene selv.
Flyeren er hovedpersonen i denne bog, hvor kulturen, inden for en radius af 50 km fra Rådhuspladsen, bliver dokumenteret gennem flyers, plakater, billetter, fotos, avisudklip med mere.
Bogen er den første af sin art i Danmark og indeholder over 450 items fordelt på 304 sider. Trykt i 600 nummererede eksemplarer. Bogen er lavet og udgivet af Copenhagen Archives, som har baseret alle datoer på fakta.
Bogen indeholder tilmed lister over top tre placeringer fra Danmarks- og Sjællandsmesterskaberne i Mix og Hip Hop koncerter på Roskilde Festival. Bogen fejres med en bogrelease på Kapelvej 44, d. 23.08.2024 kl. 16-20 med analog DJ's og old school live rap, hvor du kan købe bogen for 300 kr. kontant. Alle er velkomne.
