This album is something truly special, a collaboration between two pioneers, Kruzh’em & Badun, who come from strikingly different backgrounds: electro and electronic jazz. The album creates a minimalist, instrumental, groovy fusion.
Energy and friendship and art flow together, forming a whole third thing, like a synchronized sound family. You get that weird feeling of walking into a place and thinking “I’ve definitely been here before” even though you absolutely, one hundred percent, have not. Like your spirit and your mind remember different things. It’s basically being inside a landscape painting, which is fine, relaxing and beautiful, until you discover you can’t find the exit and no further explanation. But here’s the thing, a road doesn’t feel long when the energy is fresh. The feeling around this project: you don’t arrive, you just realize you never left.
