This album is something truly special, a collaboration between two pioneers, Kruzh’em & Badun, who come from strikingly different backgrounds: electro and electronic jazz. The album creates a minimalist, instrumental, groovy fusion.
Energy and friendship and art flow together, forming a whole third thing, like a synchronized sound family. You get that weird feeling of walking into a place and thinking “I’ve definitely been here before” even though you absolutely, one hundred percent, have not. Like your spirit and your mind remember different things. It’s basically being inside a landscape painting, which is fine, relaxing and beautiful, until you discover you can’t find the exit and no further explanation. But here’s the thing, a road doesn’t feel long when the energy is fresh. The feeling around this project: you don’t arrive, you just realize you never left.

En HUMANOID er en skabning eller en robot med menneskelignende træk og evner, og den nysgerrige producer, dj og rapper flirter med maskiner og effekter, der lyder af både hiphophistorie og af fremtid.
Albummet er Tue Tracks første soloalbum i 21 år, og det rummer lyde og idéer, som længe har boet i ham.
Tag et track som ’8963-2200’. Tallene henviser til postnumrene i henholdsvis Auning på Djursland, hvor Tue Track voksede op, og københavnske Nørrebro, hvor han bor i dag.
”Lyd lagrer sig i os, og lyden af en gammel synth indspillet på spolebåndoptager vækker minder i mig fra Auning. Om efteråret kunne man høre maskinerne fra de store gårde og dyrepillefabrikken i nærheden. Den lyd vender jeg tit tilbage til,” forklarer han.
Det var også i barndommens land, at Tue Track opdagede rap og electro fra USA og faldt for synth-friske grupper som Depeche Mode, The Normal og Yazoo. Begge dele bor stadig i ham.
”Alt er forbundet,” siger Tue Track og forklarer, at han åd al musik råt.
”Jeg hørte engang et interview med Cozmo D fra electro-gruppen Newcleus. Det var dem, der lavede ’Jam on It’. Han fortalte, at nummeret blev til, efter han havde hørt ’Situation’ med Yazoo. Det giver fuldkommen mening for mig. Selvfølgelig lyttede rapperne til engelsk synthpop i New York. Jeg havde på samme måde.”

In 1985, the chewing gum manufacturer Dandy printed stickers with graffiti pieces, made by writers from the Copenhagen area, in their chewing gum packages. They created great inspiration and entertainment for many children and young people in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Australia, where the stickers were also distributed. The stickers document what some of the first graffiti in Denmark might look like, less than a year after it arrived in the country.
Copenhagen Archives is now publishing the poster “DANDY BUBBLEGUM GRAFFITI STICKER COLLECTION 1985” with 43 individual pieces from the series.
The poster is accompanied by a document with information about the creation and the participants as well as pictures from the process.
The poster is printed in 250 hand-numbered copies in size B2 (50 X 70 cm), which fits a standard frame
